The Miraphone is a great horn. I would check it out. The Cerveny and St. Petersburg may sound nice, but they are throw away horns. They are very flimsy and are made of extremely thin brass. The reason that they are cheeper is that they are not made as well. Sorry to be the party pooper, but this is the honest truth. The valve system you are talking about is very nice; if you can afford to get it, great! If not, the standard valves are very nice also. Good luck hunting, Steve
