That was awesome. After Walter Hartley gave his explanation of the slurs with tenutos under them, Mr. Bobo said something to the effect of, 'Well, that was a first." That couldn't have been planned better than that. And I'm not sure if the high player really understand the new preserve that was put on him. Could you imagine playing the Hartley Unaccompanied for Roger Bobo with the Walter Hartley in the audience. That is like singing "Nessun dorma" in front of Pavarotti.
