A chemically cleaning by a reputable reapiar technician should do the trick. I handle this problem in my shop all of the time. Everything from rotten grapes to used feminine products have come out of school instruments. I even removed a size 12 marching band shoe from a sousaphone. Plays much better now. BTW, the shoe is hanging over my workbench, I didn't keep the used feminine products though :-) DLH
