Everyone's situation is different in choosing a mpc. As in: your stage of development, musically and physically, your bone structure, muscular, what sound you want to achieve, sort of resistance you want, etc. A great situation presented itself to me in the form of the Ft. Myer conf. in VA. I discovered a big difference in my playing with a Dillon mpc there and Matt allowed me to compare it to whatever else in the room I could find. The M1C emerged as the best match between me and my Mirafone 188.
