I once owned a 2145, it is a great instrument, I purchased it from Baltimore Music company,
it played very well and has a nice volume, I have also had the chance to play these horns side by side, I still prefer the 2145,piston. I just recently, traded it for a 6/4 Meinl, I i find the Meinl Brand of horns hard to beat, even though I know some very good tubist who prefer the Miraphone. I t really is just personal choice, but if I still I would go for the 2145.
