Good suggestion, but I think you mean blue Loctite (#243). If you use red loctite (262) correctly, you'll NEVER get that sucker out unless you use a torch to soften it up. You may even want to start with the purple stuff (222) and see if it holds. You should make sure that the screw and its threaded fitting are absolutely clean and oil-free or the loctite won't adhere.

If you want to get exotic and the screw is of a common size and head, you might want to check out an industrial fastener dealer and get a matching screw with a nylon insert (sometimes called a NYLOK screw).
