Yeah. Truth be told, I have around EIGHT 20K sousaphones (some satin silver, some lacquer) waiting to be ordered-then-overhauled-then-sold, compared to only two or so 14K sousaphones.

I was more recommending what I LIKE rather than what I HAVE.

I think the 14K sounds and plays more like a 5/4-6/4 concert tuba, whereas the 38K/20K and other largest (excluding "jumbo") size Conn sousaphones don't offer enough focus...plus the biggest Conn sousaphones (20K, 38K, etc.) offer the nuisance of the flat 3rd partial (bottom-of-staff F and E natural)
