Thanks for your comments. I'm aware that the dealers will have horns to try once they are in production. I was asking about the handful of demo tubas floating around. I was hoping to get some early impressions on the prototypes before the production models came out. With many new tuba models, the production models can play different than the "tweaked" prototypes. I just need a frame of reference.
I try not to follow trends when buying a horn and stick with what I sound good on and is comfortable. No matter which way they "slice the bread". :-)
