No, not with the YBB-641. It is more comparable to the YBB-103 and YBB-105.
It's a small tuba. I have been using one for 3 years now and nothing has fallen off.
It's not built like a tank, nor is any other inexpensive instrument made today. But being small, it does not need to be super-strong. It plays well, intonation is good to the top of the bass clef staff, and it is comfortable to hold.
