hamilton trombone stands have very weak legs. The crossbrace is riveted through the flimsy leg, creating a weak point. Your beyooteful tuba could end up on the floor in a pile of crumpled, smoking, twisted wreckage . . .

OTOH, K&M trombone stands are the sturdiest on the market, and not too pricey.

Why not just hire a lackey to hold your horn? After all, J.S. Bach had his sons run the bellows on the pipe organ while he worked.
