....yeah- that's true. But its analogous to making a remark such as.... "Anyone who starts out on a thousand CC sport bike (motorcycle) and without a helmet to boot deserves to die; Darwinism at work!" only to discover that the son of the person you're talking to died in a motorcycle wreck under those circumstances. Point reinforced perhaps but leaving a distinct taste of toe on the tongue.....
I was gonna ask her about polishing the scratches out of my hard contact lenses with brasso myself.
