Velvet Brown plays a Hirsbrunner F. You can hear it on her two solo albums- Velvet, and Music for Velvet(Crystal Records). I own the HB-12(larger model) and am completely satisfied with it. Great upper register, and a huge, in tune, warm lower register. I use the Bobo Solo mouthpiece. The 10 and 12 are both great horns. You can't go wrong. Best of luck.-Aaron
