I have installed extra water keys on a coup[le of these horns now, on the short crooks in the tubing for 3rd and 4th on the lower side of the valve casings. They are somewhat of a pain to install, making it understandable why the factory did not want to mess with it.
The valves are better on some that others, but overall they have a lot of potential. If you want to hear what one of these horns can do, just check out Andy Kokenour (spelling?) of the Dixie Power Trio - he just plays the living daylights out of a lacquered version.
