Mike and I spent some time chatting when he was just fooling around with prototypes. From the beginning his goal has been to make the easiest playing mouthpieces, with the most efficiently big sounds out there. He went through a lot of trial and error and the models he's got out now are fine new additions to our available options. They are very easy regarding flexability and a robust sound comes with very little physical effort. I'm out in PT country, but I still use my MF prototype as a basis of comparison. Equipment takes different strokes for different folks. It's definitely worth a shot.

A tip: wait for the "Alex Lapins" model (I'm not kidding, this is what happens when you get to know cool people.) It may be a few years off, but I'm holding out until Mike agrees to produce the first tuba MP with a beer holder.
