I can vouch a bit about this tuba.
Glenn Call, former euph player extrodinaire in the Marine Band, owns a York CC tuba, similar to this one. A former student of his, the gentleman selling it on E-bay, took this horn to Hirsbrunner and had a copy of it made with the two bells. This was done because Mr. Call wouldn't sell his York to this gentleman, so they did the next best thing.
I know nothing about how this horn plays, I just know this story from talking to Glenn on several occasions.
