These are pretty decent tubas for the money. If you are looking to make the switch from BBb to CC and F in one fell swoop, this pair would make a very nice Christmas present! (They would be nice singly, as well . . . )
Both tubas are good instruments. The F has some of the problems associated with rotary horns, but having six valves lets you work around them quite nicely. If I needed a larger F right now, I would be pretty happy with this one. The Kalison is also a good tuba, with a nice, even sound and good scale.
Jason is a very straight-up guy; he is honest. Dealing with him won't be a hassle.
