The funny thing is that I had Doug Purvis (also in the hundreds of performances with the Canadian Ballet Company)sub for me for two consecutive years and Mark Bonang for the other run. I'm sure they didn't bother asking the conductor about it and played the right notes. I had a different sub this year and he pointed it out to the conductor, who now paid attention and wanted the printed version. The up side to this is that next November, he'll have other things to worry about and I'll play the right notes.
