Has anyone else seen the DVD of the German Brass playing Bachin the church of St. Thomas in Leipzig? I was wondering what those "mini french horn lookin'" things are. The trumpet players are using them, are they posthorns?
BTW this DVD is highly recommended- truly an awesome performance captured here. It is a live concert,and I find it truly inspiring to watch and listen as these musicians perform. Hilgers shines with the smaller tuba as well as the Fafner(at least that's what I think it is) Toccata and Fugue in d minor has some real earth shaking moments( I think y'all know where those are)
