I have to agree. The 1291s that I have tried have been the best playing BBb tubas I have ever played. I couldn't justify spending the exta $$ for one vs. the King that I already owned, but if it had existed when I bought my horn it would certainly have been a consideration. I haven't noticed the need for extra air that others have noticed with this horn, but maybe if I had some more time with it it would have been an issue.
Need to stop thinking about it or I might be tempted to trade up, and I don't want to spend any more money on tubas.
