I'm trying to express a level of frustration without demeaning anyone. When I see a message full of typos, with no discernable punctuation, and with "like, you know" poor construction and grammar I get frustrated. I'm told that this is the new way to communicate. Well I'm concerned that what is really happening is a lack of attention to the details of written communication. When I see these type of messages I start to wonder about other areas of the poster's life. And yes, I do think there is a connection!

I also am gratified to see a young person who is really fired up about playing music. I just don't think enthusiasm excuses poor thought process, etc. Oh yeah, and don't lecture me about time; I'll trade schedules with almost anybody.

As usual, we need to all grow a little thicker skin on our toes and just get on with it.
