I'm auditioning at the University of Michigan on Valentine's Day, and I have spoken with Professor Kaenzig before and keep in contact with him on a semi-regular basis, and I can say that he is a fine individual. I love his teaching style, and I have not met a more friendly person. My previous instructor is a grad student at U of M, and he loves it. I have never seen him more busy! But anyway, Professor Kaenzig let me sit in with the studio class and do some sightreading of some ensemble stuff with them, it was quite the experience! When I had my brief lesson with Professor Kaenzig, he was very helpful, and asked a lot of questions. If you want to know anything else, please feel free to email me. When are you auditioning, and are you going to audition on euphonium or tuba?
