Well, first of all... I was going to play with this fine young gentleman for his great-grandfather. Second, I was going to encourage the rest of my quartet to do the same. Third, I was going to help provide interesting arrangements to further the cause of tuba-euphonium players. And lastly, to spread holiday cheer.
Schedule conflicts kept my quartet and I from the playing, but I still sent along the music (December 23rd). I simply wanted to know if my hard worked had reached anyone's ears, and if it had been appreciated.
