Since it is based on the 1291 frame we're looking at a compact 5/4 horn with a 19 1/2" bell with about an .830" bore, 4 piston valve and 1 rotary valve instrument. Miraphone has done some very strong development on this instrument to get it to this level and they want to try to maintain that as they move toward production. My hat is off to them for the work they have done on this and we're all just going to have to wait to see how the end result is. I know I will be at the front of the line - with cash - when they come out.
