I have not played at VMI, but the King 2341 is an excellent horn for band work. The sound is very full. There are usually many used ones out here too. This is an older model with a detachable bell, but still a very fine horn. Nothing too exotic or fancy mind you, but still a nice hoern with a great tone and excellent intonation.
