This problem might have a very cheap and non-authorised solution, that can also be applied to screws, that tend to rattle themselves loose, always during at performance.

I take a thin plastic bag intended for food storage in the fridge. Put a small snip down the female threading or a larger snip down the stop-arm-crank. problem gone.

If I should have pro repairs and maintenance for my 60 rotor valves, I would not have that many of them. Especially considering the 75 piston valves and the 3 Vienna Stölzel type double pistons.

As Joe hints, there are not that many competent repairmen around, so a good understanding of basic maintenance procedures is important. But one should never overstep ones competencies.

A simple screwdriver most certainly can screw a horn.
