This weekend the Lone Star Brass Quintet will be giving their annual christmas concert series in Midland and Odessa Texas. The Midland performance is Sat. Dec 21 (AT) 8 pm and the Odessa performance is Sunday Dec 22 (AT) 2 pm. For further details and to find concert locations contact the Midland-Odessa Symphony web page (mosc.org)or email me. We will be playing music by Bach and Handel as well as a wide variety of traditional Chirstmas songs in settings from traditional to jazz and even a calipso piece. If anyone comes and says hello after the concert, there is a great bar down the street and I will buy the first round of Shiner Boch.
