Tubas for sale/trade

If I don't get any takers before the first week of January or so I'll just place this on ebay, but I thought I'd give this one last try. I have a Boosey 3+1 compensating Eb for sale. It has a small (15") bell but a .689/.720 bore. It has a nice sound but it needs a valve job and I hate 3+1 horns so it's not worth it for me to fix it up. Email me for pictures or if you have an offer.

I also have a Yamaha 661 CC for sale. It has five valves and the fifth is right hand thumb activated (moved by Eric Peterson in Minneapolis). It's a nice horn with a nice sound, I just want a different sound for both solos and ensembles. It's a great horn if you can only afford one horn, I've used it on the Plog and I've also used it in 75 piece orchestras without a complaint. Good intonation too. Unfortunately I have no pictures at this time. Asking $4000, comes with a hard case.

Also I'd be looking to trade tubas. I'd prefer to have a BBb and an Eb (eventually anyway) but I'll look at CC's or F's if you have them. I'm running into money problems so I'd be more interested in deals where I can trade and get some cash out of it. I'd be interested in tuba parts as well, especially four valve sets (piston or rotary), single rotary valves or junk tubas that could be rebuilt to be a nice player.

Thanks,
Scott
