As a PROUD tuba playing Dad, I want the WORLD to know that my FRESHMAN son at Park View HS just won 1st Chair Symphonic Tuba at the VBODA District 3 Band tryouts Saturday! I just want the world to know that David Townsend is a great man and friend as weel as a GREAT TEACHER!! My son has been going to David for a little over 2 years and he has gone from 3rd alt Jr. Tuba in 7th grade to 1st Chair Jr. Tuba last year and 1st Chair Sr. Symphonic this year. All Virginia Band Auditions in February! Thank you David, and DAMN PROUD of you son!
