Forty-five tuba and euphonium players gathered to celebrate Bill Bell and the holidays season. The ensemble was comprised of senior high school, college, community band, retired professional musical trademans and teachers. Quite different from previous years was the surprizing absence of any sousaphones amongst the musicians. Couldn't tell if the the Euph's had any baritones intermingled. The ratio was probably 1:3 Euph's to Tubas. It was great fun, great sound and a large appreciative audience.
