Of course I'll try lava again. I only did one laping the first time. Most of my slides took a good "soap up and re soap the lava and a ten minute laping" times three to get a great smooth slide. I'm just not use to working with a slide that is that hard. The lava cuts more even than steel wool, but I'll have that ready too.
