Personally, I like the 56J. I bought one about six months ago and I have been very pleased with it. I think that on a shorter horn like that, the smaller bell will make playing a little stuffy. The larger bell also makes it a little better all around horn. I let my teacher, Don Little, play my horn and he was pretty impressed. You should still try out several horns before you buy one.
