I can't say for sure for this recording, but for the vast majority of his orchestral work, he used the York (I or II, who knows), and probably did for this recording, also. That was his preference, and he would use different mouthpieces to get the characteristic sound he wanted for a given piece.

Rex Martin probably played second, and would likely have used the other York. If memory serves, they took this piece on tour (to Japan?) at about the same time. Rex went on the tour, and played everything due to Mr. Jacobs poor health resulting in his inability to travel.

I think all of this is correct, but could be confusing the tour info with another occaision. The info regarding using the two Yorks is probably correct, as that was the standard practice for Mr. Jacobs and whomever was his #1 sub at the time (Dave Fedderly, Rex, Peter Warhaftig, etc).
