I've ended up with a fairly rare piston that someone might need.

It is a #3 piston that fits very old Conn , TOP -action .734" bore tubas (EEb or BBb).

This is a raw (unplated) nickel-silver piston with very little pitting. There are two tiny dinks in the surface (far away from any ports) and it is straight (fits in casings and goes up and down). The outer diameter is 1.046" . The top threads (to accept a stem) are intact. The guide is in place but thin (easily replaced). For what it's worth, the serial # is in the 16,XXX series, though this piston came off of a "stencil" brand. If you need it, I'll gladly sell it for $35 (well worth it to make a one-valve-missing no-player into a playable tuba). Otherwise, I'll hold on to it until I need it myself someday.

If anyone is REALLY interested, I can send a couple of pics.
