I also have the MW 45 and agree that for quintet stuff it is a chore to play soft. The small Yamaha F is good for solo and quintet, but probably not for orchestra. The big Yamaha is good all-around but doesn't have that characteristic F sound, not that that's a bad thing. I think for quintet I'd rather have a small CC with a good high range (easier fingerings on the low end than F) and keep the MW for orchestra and solo stuff. If you definitely want an F for all three (solo, quintet, orchestra) than go with the big Yamaha.
