I was surprised at this a couple of years ago when I was looking into buying a good compensating euph (I got a YEP-641 [.591 bore]). Conversation (email) with David Werden revealed that Willson and Sterling play this 'marketing game' trying to look bigger. Both manufactures measure the bore on the outside rather than inside.
I think that's cheating.
