I'd suggest taking the body of the 20J to your local coin-op car wash. Remove the main tuning slide, insert the end of the spray wand, pull the trigger, and let high-PSI warm, soapy water remove the object from the instrument. While you're at it, remove the rest of the slides and the valves, and spray the whole thing out, then rinse (wax option not recommended) ;^) When doing this, taking a friend along is recommended, and be prepared to get a little wet. If everything goes well, you will have a quite clean instrument, and if it is indeed something really nasty, at least it isn't in your bathtub at home! If this effort does not remove the object, see your repairman.
