Only if you have a flat whole step fifth valve. Which still doesn't help with the trill situation. I was making reference to the double whole step fifth valve possibilities. I don't dislike the shorter fifth valve(although it is a bit hard on my brain when checking out new horns) but was in the mood to highlight other possibilities.
