Back when I was using a dent-bag, I enjoyed the quickness of the Humes & Berg Tuxedo top-loader. As long as your tuba is not one of those really heavy ones and you work out a little "routine", you can pop a tuba into a toploader quicker than a sideloader, and without squatting down on the floor.
