How about ceramic piston valves? Titanium slides? (and gasp!)Perfect intonation?
Why not a tuba from stainless steel? My metal-working chums tell me that SS spins better than brass.
And why is the bell next to your face? Why not on the other side of the horn, so you have an easier time getting to the valves and the leadpipe can be made shorter?
How about a tuba made from palladium? It's all the rage in the flute world...
