Last night, I meet with my long time friend Paul St Pierre for tuba duets. His MW and my hb21. The regular stuff we've played a million times. The sound. . . just like always. . . two tubas. Then, I picked up my 6/4 york to see what that would do. WOW!! all of the sudden the chords had such resonance! the deep 6/4 BBb on the bottom parts and the smaller 4/4CC MW on the top. Now, two parts were so defined! Serious duet players: spend the $1500.00 for a 6/4 York and try this.
