If you research the archives here you will find several players have played this tuba. It was at Mid-West last year and at TMEA in San Antonio last year. It is a fine tuba and worth looking at if you want a seriously great tuba that plays well and projects well too.
I played it at least 45 to 50 minutes non-stop and fell in love with it. The only complaint I have with Miraphone pistons is that they are not the same absloute quality the rotors are yet but getting there. Miraphone has always been a rotor company and they are fairly new to the piston manufacturing. The pistons are stainless but just need a few bugs worked out. It was not anything I could handle or figure out.
