These are great horns... if you get a good one. There are really bad ones out there. Other brands are somewhat more consistent.
But they are not particularly durable. The one I had attracted dents as if by magic. None of my other tubas collect dents at all, let alone excessively like that Cerveny did.
But it played pretty well, better than most folks' expectations of it.
