ive used one for a couple months. i live in aprtment too. i think it's ok. it's great that i could practice any time i want at home. i'd rather practice without it. it does make make a difference on how your horn plays. my teacher when he tried it he said i'd only only practice scales on it if i were you. over all i dont love it uncondionally
but i like it.
