What is the best way to convert a Boosey Solbron 4-valve EEb tuba to
modern pitch? It has a large tuning slide now but is very flat. Even
if I convert it, perhaps by cutting some straight tubing in the back
or changing the main tuning slide, can all the notes play in tune or
will 2 or so be out of tune anyway? Will it still be very hard to blow? Any suggestions or sharing of similar
