The only pre-requisite for any serious composer to publish their music is talent. Notation software is subjective. I personally like Sibelius better, but Joe Green might like Finale better. We each have our own reasons. To someone trying to choose between the two: download the demos, then buy whichever works best for you. Don't make your decision based on the elitist rantings of some kids on an internet BBS.
