I have absolutely no knowledge of the various types of Tuba's and available keys and what each individual niche would be. Is there anywhere on the net for a quick learn? I hope to get it here. Does the fourth valve add a higher complexity in the fingering? Or is it used for just a few of the lowest notes and makes that task easier? I guess I want the easiest one to play with the potential of growing into it as my skills increase. How much of a price difference between the three and four valve? Which one for playing "On top of old smoky", "Old man river", "Home on the range", "America the Beautiful", "The Star Spangled Banner" and many more similar, as solo's? Is the BBb four valve the best? Should I stop my search for the type and concentrate on the specifics?
