Has anyone tried to perform this piece with tuba playing the trombone part? It looks like the part is very playable on F tuba, but I don't know how balance would work out... My roommate and I are doing a joint recital and are considering doing this or the Dialogue for Horn and Tuba by Plog, but we'd kind of like to include a trumpet playing friend.
