For any of you out there interested in film music, you might consider purchasing the music for the cartoon version of "Lord of the Rings" composed by Leonard Rosenman, a student of Schoenberg, among others. Not only is the music fantastic, but the tuba playing is, literally, both other-worldly and HIGHLY virtuosic!! My ear seems to think it s Mr. Johnson( maybe two tubas in th score at some points?) performing. It should be a welcome addition to all of our libraries.
