Sightread, Sightread, Sightread! That's what I've been doing a WHOLE lot of lately with my CC. And don't just sightread tuba etudes and solos, push yourself to read trombone and euphonium stuff too. When I played BBb tuba, I would always play duets with my non-bass clef friends, so I'm also reading from trumpet and horn books to get those fingerings back. I just know that since I started sightreading w/ my CC, my fingers have gotten a lot more proficient...

Just know that you're going to HATE re-learning all the stuff you knew before on the Beefer. I'm having to relearn the Hartley Unacc. Suite, and since the intervals aren't always so kind to the ear, it's very difficult. But again, sightread like the dickens, it'll come to you after about 20 etudes. =^) Hope I could help!
