I'm a band director (Reedley High)that had to move 400 bandsmen (and chaperones)through that parade last year. You will line up on a bridge overlooking the freeway.(that's the parking lot for the busses) there are plenty of restrooms at the staging area just remember to use one. Also ,foir what it's worth. Pin swapping is very cool. Most of the bands and floats have hat pins to trade. I think I traded 30 or 40 pins even in the staging area. We trained by marching around town two or three times a week. Most of the kids were afraid they would get too tired but when you are in the middle of that huge of a crowd the rush keeps you going.
